Nathalie Emmanuel
Nathalie Emmanuel is a British actress best known as Missandei in HBO's huge adventure "Game of Thrones". (HBO 2011-19). Born and raised in Southend-on-the-Sea which is a resort on the sea town located in Essex, Emmanuel was drawn to the stage from a young age. Her mother was quick to notice that she was a performer, and at the age of Nathalie was just three years old, parents signed her up for the singing, dancing and acting classes. Emmanuel was a skilled performer who developed rapidly. At the close of the 90s she played her role as a little Nala in "The The Lion King" a West End musical that was a huge success. When she turned an teen, Emmanuel began auditioning for the roles in TV and films. Her breakthrough came in 2007, when she got cast as Sasha Valentine, a British soap-opera "Hollyoaks", (Channel 4 95-). Emmanuel played the character for four seasons, leaving the series in 2010. Emmanuel got her first break on HBO "Game of Thrones" three years later, in the role of Missandei. This role will be the voice of Daenerys Targaryen's hero (portrayed by Emilia Clarke). Emmanuel will go on to appear in each subsequent series of "Game of Thrones," until the final episode in the month of May, 2019.
