A veteran journalist with two decades experience covering economics and business news, Bartiromo was instrumental in positioning CNBC among the best in the business and economic segment. Her incredibly successful career as a journalist makes one believe that the lady was destined for this particular field. Jeanne Marie Tripplehorn is an American TV and film actress. A gifted thespian, she has been active in the professional world over the last 27 years. Her stage debut came in the year 1990 when she appeared on Broadway with an Off-Broadway production of The Big Funk directed by John Patrick Shanley. The Perfect Tribute was her first role on TV a year after. In 1992 she got her big break when she was cast in the movie Basic Instinct as a supporting character. In The Firm, she played the lead female role for the first time. She was on the screen alongside Tom Cruise and Gene Hackman. The 90s saw her working alongside some of the top actors in Hollywood, like Gwyneth Paltrow as well as Hugh Grant. In the past, she played Dr. Alex Blake in the internationally well-known crime procedural Criminal Minds.
